The Donnersbachklamm: also great for children
Nearby and nevertheless surprising …
Waterfalls, bridges, swirling water … you will find it all in the Donnersbachklamm. This activity takes about 2 hours. With children, it may take a little longer.
We start at Gasthof Leitner in Donnersbachwald. That’s also where we park our car. From here, we follow the Klammrundweg. Among the things we pass: the Donnersbacher Holzknecht Hütte, a few waterfalls, a number of small bridges, the Klammsteigruhe and the Felsentunnel, a bench with a nice view of the surrounding area (after we left the gorge).
A fun activity. Definitely do.
After the walk, you can have something to eat or drink at the Leitnerhof. Definitely recommended as far as we are concerned.

Sports lovers can choose halfway to follow the Wasserschlossrundweg (path 2). Therefore you have to count an extra 2 hours. We ourselves have not yet done this walk.
